YOUR FIRST VISIT
On arrival to our office you should expect to be immediately greeted by our front office desk person. If you haven't printed off our "new patient intake forms," you will need to fill out this short form. After you have filled out the appropriate information about yourself you will be directed into the consultation room where there you will meet the doctor. After meeting with the doctor and the doctor has determined that it would be in your best interest to have an examination. The exam on average takes about ten minutes and is pain free. The doctor or his staff will first perform a computerized exam. This test is painless, quick, and not harmful to your body like x-rays would be. It will tell you if you have nerve interference and compare you to normal. This is one of the most accurate and objective tests for evaluating subluxation. After the computerized exam, the doctor will perform his exam. After all the testing has been done and it has been determined that you have you have a subluxation the doctor will recommend an adjustment. The adjustment is painless and does not take long. Following the adjustment the doctor will usually recommend you return for an evaluation one to three days later to see how the vertebra held its position. The total length of your first visit should be between thirty to sixty minutes.
